Lip-syncing in malls with heartthrobs High Five was meant to give him an in with the megacorporation that created the band, but in a media world where payback means less than 'I'll call you', Jake has to find his own way out. Ruined, ridiculed, and really pissed off, he teams up with the delectable Brett and her brother to wreak revenge. High on classic movies and whatever is handy, the three set out to scam the media machine from London to LA, taking the industry for what it's become. But your first love is the hardest to forget - and if it was Fame, it can mess you up for good.
