Megan Bannen recommends
This Will Be Fun (2024)
E B Asher
"A clever fairy tale romp for grown-ups and a comforting reminder that even heroes have to figure out this whole adulting thing. If you like stories full of voice, humor, and heart, look no further."
Sorcery and Small Magics (2024)
(Wildersongs Trilogy, book 1)
Maiga Doocy
"Sorcery and Small Magics is nothing short of masterful. Leo Lovage could read me the phone book and I'd be delighted, and I would gladly take an arrow for either Leo or Grimm."
Nine Tailed (2024)
(Realm of Four Kingdoms, book 1)
Jayci Lee
"Jayci Lee's Nine Tailed gives Janet-Evanovich-meets-Buffy vibes in a vibrant fantasy setting full of Korean mythology. If you're in the mood for some spicy, magical fun, this is the book for you."
