He was once more famous than F. Scott Fitzgerald. He's the literary giant you never heard of. Alexander Icarus Camby was supposed to write the Great American Novel. After shaking the literary world with award-winning short stories in the late 20s, Camby overshadowed Fitzgerald, Hemingway, and Faulkner, by accepting a then mind-bending advance of a quarter of a million dollars for his debut novel. The whole world waited. And waited. And he never wrote another word. Or did he? Sixty years later, an aspiring author, suffering from crippling writer's block, inherits Camby's writing cottage, a cottage famous for only one thing - and it wasn't for the writing that was done there.
