Blood Reign

In the aftermath of the devastation caused by the cosmic horror of the Flawless, Caine ascends to the throne of the Dragon World and struggles to pull civilization out of the rubble. The future is dark with omens. He builds bridges to the leaders of Earth and the Courts of Fairy, knowing the main worlds must stick together or die separately in the jewel-tone death-winds of the Flawless. The next attack could come at any time and the Silver Clan is resisting his efforts as the new God-emperor of the planet. This threatens his dedicated time for drinking and whoring around. But at least he's got a handle on the ticking time-bomb inside himself: the bioweapon his father implanted when he was a baby. It's time to tame the shadow-beast, to shape it, and release it from prison on the astral planes. Caine’s a god now so nothing can go wrong. Except it does.
