Dear Christmas

Can you fall in love with someone without ever meeting them in person first? It began ten years ago as a school project. Pen pals from different parts of the world. For Ben and Zara, their bond grew deeper. As life continued to evolve and change, the two confided their wishes, fears, dreams, and so much more back and forth in letters and emails, until the day of Zara's last ominous message, warning Ben that she may not be able to write for awhile as her family had to flee for their safety. He hadn't heard from her since. Three years later at twenty years old, Ben's wish came true. Zara has been granted refugee status in the USA, living just over an hour away from him. This Christmas, two best friends from different cultures get to spend the holiday together and see if their growing romantic feelings stand a chance. Not everyone will understand their love.
