Lady of the Masque

Geoffrey, Earl of Glendale, decides to take his revenge on his father, whom he blames for his mother's death. At the Masque Theatre the earl meets Georgina, the granddaughter of Sir George Paget. He woos and weds her, believing her to be a common actress. Georgina is heartbroken when she realises she has been made a cat's-paw, but the earl finds he is deeply in love with his wife. When Georgina is badly injured, Geoffrey is shocked into admitting his passion for her.
