Security International agent Diana de Revillon is no ordinary detective. Blonde, lissome and a member of Europe's jet set, she finds her undercover work a meaningful alternative to life in the platinum playpen. Her latest assignment, however, may prove her undoing. All the tracks of a too-coincidental art heist and an enormous cocaine deal lead to David Mendel, an attractive and mysterious billionaire. Even while Diana flirts with David on the slopes of St. Moritz and the racetrack at Deauville, both realize that something more profound than a superficial society seduction is occurring. When David invites Diana to join him on a cruise on his yacht, is it for love or for death? Like a good travel agent, Bonds knows where to send her readers and which details of life among the idle rich to point out. If the itinerary seems too predictable and the characters too obvious at times, it's still a fun trip.
