The factory jokester is about to get serious – with the older woman who happens to be his new boss!

Jim
I’ve been working on the production line in this small town factory since I graduated from high school. My coworkers still think of me as the smart-mouthed kid in their group, but now that I’ve turned thirty-five, I’m ready to settle down. when I get the opportunity to branch out and drive the forklift on another team, I see it as a chance for a fresh start. I’ve got a new look, a newly remodeled house, and now, a new boss at least temporarily. I’ve also got a big problem, because the minute I laid eyes on Jordan I was head over heels in love with her.

Jordan
Sure, being a ‘foreman’ is a non-traditional career choice for a woman, but I love the work. When I’m offered the opportunity to lead the team at our Texas factory, I jump at the chance to move to a new town. Despite my being the first woman in this position here, everything is going great -- at least until I meet my new employee, Jim. His reputation as a jokester precedes him, and I’ve got no time for shenanigans on my team. I’ve also got no time for love, which is a shame, because when I look at Jim, I’m picturing happily ever after.

He's eight years younger than me, he’s my employee, and he’s dangerously irresistible. Despite my best intentions to stay focused on work, I can’t ignore the sparks flying between us. Our relationship shouldn’t work. But when he holds me in his arms, all of our differences fall away.

“Handling the Boss” is an opposites attract midlife romance with lighthearted guy who wants to be taken seriously, a super serious woman trying to succeed in a male-dominated field, and a factory full of nosy matchmakers determined to help this couple find their forever love.
