You reap what you sow.

Maggie and Kurt live a charmed life, or so it seems on the surface. They have a beautiful new home in an upscale neighborhood, and Maggie is pursuing her dream of writing. Or she would be if she could shake the feeling that something is lurking out there in the corn - something stranger but no more terrifying than the monster she married.

And the horror in the cornfield is getting closer. Soon evil works its way into her home - and her heart - like a worm in an apple. All she must do is give in to the darkness, and no one will ever be able to make her afraid again.
