Since her encounter with the seer, Daphne continues dreaming about destruction. Specifically, she sees a portal to another realm opening and a horrific creature crawling out. In her dreams, she can never see it in its entirety.
After a change of heart, Arabella starts assisting in the search for her daughter, along with Daphne, Matthew, and Dolly. She admits that the process pains her since she doesn’t want to discover that her daughter died ages ago, but she is willing to do so for Daphne and Matthew’s sake.
Meanwhile, Daphne is still confused about the voice recording she heard in Dalia’s possession. Something tells her that it’s significant.
She decides to spend more time with John Fitzsimmons to discover the truth. After all, he has connections and can help point her in the right direction. He loved Lucas, so he could help her with her search.
Of course, Thomas isn’t a fan of the idea, and Daphne can only hope the investigation doesn’t strain their relationship.
A local real estate agent is found dead. Shadow Woods gets riled up at the news of another murder.
Daphne takes her opportunity to get closer to the Fitzsimmons family, knowing she’s walking a dangerous path in pursuit of the truth.
