#4 An Appraisal to Die For
Who knew that the world of antiques was such a backstabbing business? Residents are eager to have their antiques appraised, but others who operate at the fringes of the antique world, are in town for the market as well. Con artists offering questionable wares. Scammers claiming knowledge they don't possess. Grifters working in teams to trick the unwary. When an antique dealer is discovered with a knife in his back, all eyes first turn to local antique shop owner Mark Sutton. Jackie realizes she has to jump in order to clear Mark's name and the only way to do that is to find the real murderer.
#5 A Filmsy Excuse
Tragedy strikes as the 4th of July firework show over the lake comes to an end. A boat on Lake Harmony bursts into flames! Rumors swirl that the fire was caused by faulty mechanical repairs, but the fire inspector hints at it being arson. When it's discovered that one of the boaters drowned trying to reach shore, things kick up a notch. And when the drowning victim's husband's body is found floating in the marina, the questions only build. Arson and two drowning accidents, or two murders? Jackie's drawn into the investigation when her own missing camera tripod shows up as a possible murder weapon!
#6 A Negative Result
A tour group at the famous Taliesin, Frank Lloyd Wright's home, discovers the body of one of the estate's volunteers at the Romeo and Juliet tower. The local doctor notifies the police about an underlying condition that could have caused the young woman's sudden death. But things heat up between the victim's husband and her parents when he insists an autopsy is unnecessary, and he wants the body cremated ASAP. Is he trying to hide something? Even receiving a threatening note telling her to stay out of it, doesn't deter Jackie from working to solve the mysterious death at the tower.
Reader reviews of Parker Photography mysteries...
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Almost like Agatha Christy, the "who's guilty" keeps changing up to the very last. Great descriptions of the areas make the reader really see the beautiful land and buildings. The characters are developed and their interplay is perfect."
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "I hope it goes on forever...great murder mystery with some romance thrown in. I love that they are on Kindle Unlimited so I can easily move from one to the other."
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "I really enjoyed this book, very refreshing wonderful line and a surprise ending of course made it more fun. I can't wait to read the next book."
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Ms. Bolden has written another complex cozy mystery that kept me on my toes as I read. I enjoy having a mature female sleuth who is smart, capable and works with the local police to uncover the truth. With a few deft twists, a couple of red herrings that I followed until I realized that those clues just didn't fit, and characters that I like and find relatable, my attention was captured by the story from the first page until I reached the end."
