Brianna’s Trume’s life becomes one of constant change and adventure-when, at sixteen, she steps onto the Scansion Bridge. Brianna had hoped she would be allowed to live at home with her Uncle Carl and work at the Factory in Scoma but this was not to be. The ruling class of machines have other plans for her. At the interview and analysis stage, they discover that Brianna has sufficient aquatic physiology within her. Meaning, she will now be selected and sent to the City of Urbs. Something, Brianna was dreading all along. Soon after, Brianna has to flee the city and her wayward escapades begin.
