Temp Job of Murder

New job, new town, new friends, same Lacy Steele. When Lacy takes a consulting job in the city to escape her personal woes back home, she doesn't expect calamity to find her so quickly, but wild animal attacks and an epic wardrobe malfunction seemingly have no boundaries. When one of her new friends is murdered and the wrong person is arrested, Lacy seems to be the only one who cares that justice is done. Meanwhile back home, Lacy's estranged boyfriend is having troubles of his own. Without Lacy around, he can't sleep. As his insomnia mounts, so does his worry. He's convinced Lacy is in danger but can do nothing to protect her from so far away. Back in the city, Lacy is trying her best to prove him right because a killer will stop at nothing to get what he's after, and Lacy Steele is unwittingly in the way.
