The Sea of Dreams

This is a story of the immortal lizard-man Mr. Zed, and his faithful computer command subsystem, Ylva Johanssen, a soulless machine imbued with whatever little remains of a once-beautiful dead woman. Mr. Zed and Ylva run the powerful and enigmatic Standard ARM corporation, grown fabulously wealthy exploiting technologies extracted from a crashed alien starship they found one day while prospecting the Fore-Trojan Asteroids. Now, Mr. Zed and one of Ylva's nameless Body Doubles are flying an experimental spaceship deep into the featureless blue atmosphere of the planet Uranus. There they find an unexpected doorway into... call it the place that dreams come from.
