When her mother suffers a fall and needs help, Rebecca has no choice but to head to the remote Sussex village of Oxendon. And since her husband is busy at work, she's forced to take both Alicia and Rose along for the journey.

As Rebecca tends to her mother, the two young girls explore the village and soon discover an old school next to the church. Having been abandoned for many years, Oxendon's school seems like the perfect place for children to play, but they soon discover that they might not be alone after all. Something is lurking in the school, something that has been waiting a long time for its chance to emerge.

Soon Alicia and Rose find themselves drawn into a dangerous game with an entity they can't possibly understand. Rose's suppressed abilities to communicate with the dead might offer their only chance for survival, but first they must unravel the true story of a tragedy that shook the village many years earlier.

The Haunting of Oxendon School is the fourth book in the Ghosts of Rose Radcliffe series, about a team of paranormal investigators and their encounters with the supernatural. Each book tells a standalone story but readers are advised to read them in order.
