With their rebellion against the Taliban collapsing, Jan and Kelly have been airlifted from Afghanistan and separated against their will. They must navigate new lives in Europe and America, while their Afghan friends are left behind to fend for themselves.

Pregnant with Jan’s child, fifteen-year-old Kelly faces off against high school bullies and her self-obsessed mother, who demands that she get rid of the baby. Her only hope is to escape the United States and find her way to Jan in Poland. She embarks on a daring getaway with help from the son of a notorious Florida drug lord.

Jan finds new allies among the hard-partying Polish teenagers in his parents’ downtrodden hometown. But can he trust them? Jan finds out that he will have depend on his new Polish friends to back him up while he enlists in the Ukrainian army to help his Afghan friend trapped in the migrant route to Europe. He must survive the front lines long enough to find Kelly and outwit the criminals who have condemned her, the baby and his Afghan friend to a cruel fate.

Farrukh and his family have lost their village in the rebellion. They are at the mercy of Afghan drug runners and ISIS terrorists who have a blood vendetta against them. Desperate, he heads for Europe to find Jan, knowing that he will have to betray his friend to save the lives of his loved ones.

Now fighting with their wits instead of weapons, The Circle of Fire will be tested on their journey across land and sea to find each other and escape from a sinister web of lies and certain death.
