As the Chancellor of the Exchequer, my high-profile, high-powered role usually leaves me, well, highly strung. But being around my ex-husband, Alex, at our son’s Christmas wedding, has me relaxing in all sorts of ways.
After five years of hot flashes, migraines, and night sweats, I thought the menopause had killed off my libido. But somehow, my ex-husband has zapped it back to life with one heated stare.
Those come to bed eyes have me hypnotised. That and the doobie I smoked from my son’s bohemian in-laws. Losing all inhibitions, I find myself trussed up like a Christmas turkey with the one man who can handle my curves.
