Rod can not tell a lie, so when his teacher asks him where his homework is Rod can only speak the truth and say "that aliens ate it". Nobody believes him, and that is just as well, because Rod has been sworn to secrecy, as the aliens are here on a top-secret mission and Rod is helping them.
