A top agent in the FBI and her new partner are tasked with capturing a killer who is leaving dead bodies from coast-to-coast in this exciting new FBI thriller series from C.R. Chandler.

Special Agent Gin Reilly is still settling into her job with the FBI’s Critical Crimes Unit when she’s called out to a remote part of upstate New York. Two utility workers have discovered a dead body beneath a huge electrical tower who has been identified as Benjamin Stampler, the CEO of a major pharmaceutical company. Stampler’s disappearance from his yacht in Miami over a month ago made national headlines, and the powers-that-be who are much higher up the food chain than Gin want this murder solved in days, not weeks.

When the FBI is called in, it doesn’t sit well with the local law enforcement, while the sudden appearance of the Critical Crimes Unit’s newest member, a former Navy rescue pilot, at the crime scene doesn’t sit well with Gin. But there’s a case to solve that quickly turns into multiple cases as Gin uncovers a trail of dead bodies.

Gin leans on her years of experience in dealing with a serial killer—insights gained from growing up with one, as she works to find the connection between seemingly random victims. When she gets closer, “accidents” begin happening. Accidents that are clearly directed at her. But that doesn't stop her as she doggedly tracks a dangerous killer, and in the chase not only uncovers a hard truth about her past but is left with one choice in the present: capture a madman or become one of his victims.
