After the tumultuous events that took place in Hunters Moon, Tony Giodone - assassin for the Mafia turned werewolf - has found refuge in a community of Sazi shapeshifters, where he and his sexy human mate Sue Quentin now live under assumed identities. Everything seems to be going well, until Tony starts getting visions from other peoples' minds. Suddenly, he knows things about certain Sazi that he shouldn't. He doesn't know if they are hallucinations or actual past events, but something is definitely going on with his werewolf powers, and it's creeping him out. Now, between the world-wide meeting of Sazi leaders Tony's community must prepare for, the Mafia gearing up for a full-fledged war with a strange beast that is kidnapping female Sazi and killing them after it sucks out their powers, and Sue's feeling of suffocation in their relationship, Tony's got a lot on his plate.
