This is the full story of my life, from fragmented memories at around age three to current experiences as I wander through the ninth decade of my existence. Everything that occurred to me became another adventure, from a bike trip to the airport for an airplane fight at age fourteen to an assignment in World War II that led to my lifelong career as a writer. Besides such ventures as analyzing enemy air activity during the Korean War, I covered desegregation violence in Tennessee as a newspaper reporter, started Nashville's first slick paper monthly magazine, and since "retirement" created five Greg McKenzie mystery novels, two Sid Chance mysteries, a Post Cold War Political Thriller Trilogy and a standalone suspense story. I detail how I use personal experiences in my fiction, and in other exploits I chronicle two trips across Europe, one to the Holy Land and another across the Far East. In other words, this is a lifelong adventure tale.
