Stampede

Three of them blow into the Wyoming town of Maverly that afternoon: Big Bill Spooner, Jose Murphy, and their leader Johnny Colt. Tired of being saddle tramps, they're looking to write off their debts and make a stake in the cattle business. So when Johnny pays a visit to a man who owes him money, and is instead made fifty-one-percent owner of a herd of nine hundred cattle, he and his pards agree to drive them to Deadwood and collect some cool thousands. But how far will they get through the worst stretch of Indian country in the West before they're scalped and their beef is stripped for jerky? When they join up with tougher-than-a-grizzly Clay Mixler's cattle drive for protection, they realize they've got more than Indians to worry about, including double-cross and bullets with their names on them...
