A Long Way from Eden

When a sinkhole freakishly erupts on the Sun Coast of Florida, the decaying remains of a young woman surface. Homicide detectives Adam Templeton and Joe Davey are forced to proceed from this act of god and dig deeply along bizarre, dangerous paths into the past. Following the slightest leads and traveling across the state in a headlong investigation, the partners track the crime to a strange nationwide cult. They eventually reach the end of the road at a waterside estate where they find the man and multiple killer who directs his fanatic cult right into the next world.
