J M G Le Clézio recommends
Riambel (2023)
Priya Hein
"Riambel bravely grasps the complexity of ethnic relationships in Mauritius . . . displaying great art in the sense of shame blended with indignation and in the gaps in what is not said."
At Night All Blood Is Black (2020)
David Diop
"David Diop's At Night All Blood Is Black is a particularly pertinent reflection on the evils of war, as well as a profound exploration of the human soul."
