Texas men are hard to kill. Jim Hatfield was a Texas man and a Ranger besides. He was hell on horseback with fists or guns. But he had to be fast on the draw when he rode into a range war between the Bradded R Ranch and the Fork S outfit in Mist River. Already one puncher on each side had been mysteriously hanged.
