Systems down, they needed help to get things up and running again, men and equipment needed repairing. Coming across the slaver caravan had grated they'd wanted to act but he was an opportunity they could use.
Blind without their systems up and running, him telling them that he had a deal for them was a lie. But going with him gave them directions to the nearest town and supplies. Agreeing to sell themselves he took them to the town and into a bar. With no intention of selling anyone, he was curious where this would lead. The slaver no intention of being honourable.
The female in charge was a surprise. He felt his body stir. Her killing the slaver had saved him from doing it. Her walls telling him very little. She was good at masking her emotions. And what she showed them about her business was interesting too. She sold flesh. Fantasies. You wanted it, if it was consensual, she made it happen. No one was owned in her world, they worked because they wanted to. Enjoyed being paid for it.
He felt his men's intrigue over his neuro net.
So when the offer came, he wasn't surprised it was taken up. They were known for their abilities, and they'd been trained well. It didn't have to be for war. It could also be for pleasure…..
