A non fiction book by Josephine Cox and Piers Dudgeon

The author has talked at length with Josephine Cox about her early years, and weaves together her childhood with the people she draws in her books. He has visited Blackburn where Jo grew up, delved into the town's archives, talked to people there who remember earlier days and taken many photographs to complement the contemporary pictures he has unearthed.
