The Tallow Image

Opening in 19th-century Australia and moving to England in the 1980s, this is a story of a young, beautiful convict woman who drives her goaler to madness and suicide. A 100 years later the tallow image of herself, fashioned during her last days, perpetuates the curse she left on his descendants.
