After Jenna's baby brother was born, Mama began doing some very odd things. She remembered to read to Jenna at bedtime, but she forgot to defrost the chicken for dinner. And she took Jenna to Albert's birthday party a week before Albert's birthday. "I don't know whether I'm coming or going," Mama said. But Jenna didn't care. She loved Mama whichever way she went. And between them, even the most topsy-turvy things worked out pretty well. Love and laughter abound in this hilarious and all-too-true glimpse of a supremely functional, if temporarily disorganized, family.
