Love Across the Water

The flooding of a Reithdale valley splits the farming community, and two families are drawn into a bitter feud. During a drought, when the old village and old memories are exposed, Jez Davies meets Martha Hetherington in the forgotten valley and falls in love. But Martha is unhappily married with a tiny baby and she and Jez find they are divided by more than the deep waters of the lake, as fate conspires to keep them apart.
