The Debs Ball

Love stories begin at the Beachwood Comprehensive Debs. Or so Susan Kane believes. As the event draws near, she dreams about a fairytale ball, followed by a visit to a dimly-lit nightclub on Leeson Street. Then breakfast in Bewleys and the lazy, sleepy bus-journey home with her head resting on Paul Johnston's shoulder. But real life is not a romantic novel and Paul is completely unaware that he is the subject of Susan's dreams. So it is up to Caro Kane to make sure that her elder sister's wishes come true. She and her friend Aoife Johnston plot the means to bring the young couple together. Finally, the dream night arrives. Or is it a nightmare?
