A Christmas Epiphany

(2024)
A novel by

Her Christmas started with a talking puppy, a cynical cat, and a man in her pear tree—what could possibly go wrong?

Mary’s holiday plans were simple: avoid drama, stay cozy, and binge Christmas movies with her pets. But those plans crumble when her cat and dog start talking, waking her up to see the man in her backyard pear tree.

Parch T. Ridge is an elf, here to show her that the Twelve Days of Christmas can come true for some people. Particularly when St. Nicholas himself personally adds his twist to the holiday.

Mary is a little slow—it takes her until the third day before she realizes she is living a Christmas carol. And then Nick shows up and tells her he loves to challenge one person during the holidays and this one is hers. And that she just better roll with it.

So she does.

What follows are twelve days of magical mayhem. From flying stone gargoyles who can’t actually fly and definitely can’t swim (they’re stone. Of course they sink). To three drunk French women pretending to give her a British hen party—well, Mary’s quiet life is turned upside down.

But through it all, there’s Parch—infuriatingly charming, undeniably intriguing, and hiding a royal-sized secret.

When he has to return home because of an emergency, Mary discovers she wants more to life than her house, her pets, and books. Heck, even her mother has been hiding secrets from her!

As she nears the twelfth day, she finds she has a royal dilemma. She has to make a decision that could change her life forever.

Her epiphany can go in so many different directions. Which will Mary choose?

Full of humor, heart, and holiday magic, Mary’s journey is one of love, laughter, and the occasional mishap within an enchanted world.

Twelve days. One man. And a Christmas she’ll never forget.
