After the small town she’s visiting is bombed, chaos ensues as Sheila searches for somewhere to go, to hide, to get away from the madness and death in the streets. Armed soldiers raid the area, and things only get worse from there. If not for discovering a letter, left behind by someone named Marty, she might have just stayed put. But instead, Sheila subjects herself to a journey, following a trail of breadcrumbs, seeking to catch up to a small group of people who are looking to escape what they soon discover to be a quarantined zone. Why, they aren’t fully sure—not until they see the creatures with their own two eyes. Once that happens, each member of the ragtag group begins to share their experiences with these creatures, the most important being Marty’s. Everything has changed. Everything will continue changing. All they can do is adapt or die.
The Infinite Cycle (previously titled The Saga of I) focuses on a virus that has escaped a medical facility and infected humans, transforming them into horrible creatures. But their transformation is far from complete, their end goal not fully apparent to anyone until it’s too late. Join Marty and Sheila and the rest of their group as they fight against the Infinite and his army of manmade alien monsters. Discover what these aliens want, and about Marty’s relationship with his brother and how it transforms over time. This is the end of the world as we know it.
