Seven years ago my world ended. A Pure and his angel visited our town and killed everyone. Including my family. I should have died with the others. But I'm too stubborn, too different, to go away quietly. I return to the city of my mother's birth. Paradise. And I watch and learn. I study the monarch's minions, those who really run the city. I don't care how powerful they might be. Or how monstrous they really are. I'll either go around the Four, or I'll kill them.
Because nothing will stop me from getting my vengeance on the man who killed my family.
And no vampire, werewolf, fae, or...whatever the big guy is...is going to stop me.
