Paper Mage

A historical fantasy, set in China, during the Tang dynasty, around 837 AD. The main character, Xiao Yen, takes paper, folds it into the shape of an animal or a thing, then casts magic so the paper becomes the thing she has folded. Her problem? She has lost her luck. . .
