Leonard Carpenter is the bestselling author of Conan the Hero, Conan the Savage and other books in the Conan the Barbarian series. He is the series most prolific author. Carpenter is also the author of the science fiction novel, Fatal Strain, and his short fiction has been published in Amazing Stories, Asimov's Science Fiction, Year's Best Horror, and other magazines and anthologies. He has won the Writers of the Future contest and received an Origins Award for Best Game-Related Fiction. Carpenter also works as a technical writer in the software and technology industry.
