Louise Carey has been writing since the age of 15, when she co-authored the graphic novel ‘Confessions of a Blabbermouth’ with her father, Mike. She has since co-written two fantasy novels with her parents, ‘The House of War and Witness’ and ‘The City of Silk and Steel'. Her debut trilogy of novels starts with 'Inscape' (Gollancz, Jan 21, 2021): 'A propulsive thriller... with great twists and reversals' (4 stars - SFX).
Louise read English at University College, Oxford and has a master’s in Psychology from Oxford Brookes. She currently works as a writer and editor, dividing her time between freelance projects and the D&D blog Tabletop Tales, which she runs with her partner. Her Tweet-sized flash fiction has been featured in Nanoism and Cuento Magazine.
