Jungle Hospital

Volunteering for a hospital in Penang, Lynn was apprehensive when she was sent to an undeveloped Malaysian island where two doctors and two nurses had to cope with a continual flow of patients. Taking an instant dislike to the arrogant surgeon in charge did not help either, especially as he expected her to put up with heat, insects, torrential rain and endless hours on duty without complaint. Eventually she came to terms with the primitive conditions but was totally unprepared for the battle within herself when she fell in love with a man whose affections were engaged elsewhere.
