As one of the sons to Salvatore Benetti, Christos Benetti was Benetti Crime Family royalty. Though he could have easily taken the route as his older brother, Christos had chosen to go to law school and become a lawyer. With the younger generation becoming lawyers and doctors, all his family’s secrets would be safe. Every corner had been conquered now, making them unstoppable.
With his calendar full of court appearances and trials, you’d think that he’d be too busy for much else, but he was never too busy for family. Christos’ priorities always revolved around what was best for his family. So, when things become personal between the Benettis and Morgan City’s prosecuting office, it’s game on when he finds himself stalking a stunning reporter with a hell of a name.

As the only person currently trying to single-handedly bring down the corrupt prosecutors of Morgan City, Six Youngblood had a lot on her plate. For over a year, she’s been on a one-woman crusade to do everything she can to expose the nasty underbelly of some very powerful people. As a reporter, it was her job. However, this job was a bit more personal.
With her personal agenda driving her to do some rather questionable things, Six still realizes that there’s only so much she can do with her limited resources. So, when she thinks that she’s found someone who can help her, she quickly realizes the error of her ways. The last thing that she expected was to get tangled up with the one Mafia prince who wasn’t her greatest fan.
When both sides can be destructive…
Though his family was always getting involved in crazy shit, when Christos finds himself in the middle of having to defend his family, he’s eager to do what he can to make things right. No matter what the law degree hanging up in his office suggests, he’s a Benetti first and foremost.
Though she’s still determined to see things through, when Six finds herself in the middle of a Benetti revenge plot, she’s not sure what her next steps should be. Refusing to take a backseat to the Benettis, she makes her position known, even if the price for her demands might be her life.
When the lines between justice and vigilante begin to blur, Christos and Six find themselves fighting each other as well as the enemy, and it’s only going to get worse.
