Hair Raiser

When salon owner Marla Shore volunteers to help her cousin Cynthia enlist celebrity chefs for the Ocean Guard's annual Taste of the World fund-raiser, she knows she's stretching her hectic schedule dangerously thin. But she never realized how murderous volunteer work could be, until one by one, the chefs begin dropping out -- and the Ocean Guard board members beginning dropping dead.... Fortunately, Marla's got a handsome cop in her corner, and his interest goes way beyond the call of duty. Because it doesn't take a dead duck on her doorstep to let Marla know that her good intentions have once again gotten her in over her head, and precariously close to a killer who'd like to see Marla washed up -- permanently.
