Crocheting with Kurt Cobain tells the story of Judith Wells, a deceased 21 year old celeb-obsessed Kurt Cobain fan. Judith narrates the story beginning with her realisation that she is confined in a vacuum between heaven and earth. To progress she must atone for wrongdoings. Adamant she has always behaved accordingly, while re-visiting her old house she discovers otherwise. Bennie Molloy is as malicious as she is manipulative. Indifferent to those who treat her with suspicion, she will achieve her goals at all cost. Harriet "Ginger-Minge Neat-Freak" Hobson has grown immune to Bennie and Judith's ridiculing but not before she finds consolation with her boss, thirty years her senior. Much to Judith's ghostly surprise, Harriet is genuine in more ways than Judith ever realised. According to Judith, Kate is past her sell by date at twenty nine, she's stuck in her low-paying dead-end teaching job. While roaming around her old house, Judith is aghast that she missed one vital aspect of Kate's hopeless life. Charlotte is the owner of the house. A thirty two years old child psychologist, she appears to display great self-disciplined with her study hours and exercise routine. Judith discovers Charlotte is far from controlled and could do with a few sessions in her patient's chair. Eric and Rob are the two men in Judith's life, both vastly different men. She loves Rob for his resemblance to Kurt Cobain, and Eric because of his celeb-status, connections to Kurt Cobain and his intense crazy Jesus-Like eyes. As Judith recaps on her short life and the sequence of events that led to her suspicious death, she narrates an irreverent, cruel, and ultimately inspiring story.
