A Match for Griff
(2022)(The fourth book in the Matchmaker - Agatha Returns series)
A novel by Patricia PacJac Carroll
Afraid that his nephew was on the verge of going wild if not outlaw, JT Keating wrote to Matchmaker Agatha to acquire a mail-order bride for Griff. JT figured a good strong farm girl was just what Griff needed.
Agatha’s shaky hand reached for the letters. “Ann, Ann, where is she?” Agatha had spent hours deciding who should go with whom. She squinted and then smiled. “There she is, Annie, I have just the match for you.”
Annie Mitchell held the letter from Agatha close to her chest. A match had been made, and she was on her way to a small town in Colorado. She was to meet Griff Keating at the hotel in Gold Flats. She glanced out the stage window and the majestic mountains. Soon she would meet the man that Agatha had chosen for her. Annie had written that she needed a strong man who would take care of her. She didn’t know how to cook or clean, but she would learn. Agatha had assured her that her match would be a gentleman who would know how to take care of a lady.
Annie versus Ann, who would think one lady could be so different from another? While Ann was a strong farm girl capable of running a ranch on her own, Annie was a spoiled rich girl who had come on hard times after her father’s bank went under and he died of a heart attack. She was on her own and had no way or idea of how to take care of herself much less a ranch.
Let the sparks begin.
Genre: Inspirational
