High-octane, action-packed Black Ops adventure featuring Jonny Davies and the boys from B.O.S.S. security. In this new series of SAS Black Ops - The B.O.S.S. years, the untold missions are revealed.
In this first story, SAS Black Ops - Badlands, Jonny and his team from the British Overseas Security Services are contracted by the CIA to go to Syria and locate and rescue a U.S. citizen. It's September, 2012, in the run-up to the November presidential election campaign and terrorists unknown have kidnapped an American reporter.
Stephen Chambers, a freelance photojournalist has received information of a chemical attack on the people of Ras al Ain, Syria. He travels to Turkey and crosses the border to gather evidence of the brutal murder of innocent men, women and children, only to encounter one of the many bloodthirsty militias. After a bloody firefight with opposition forces, Chambers is captured and driven away to the badlands, where he is held hostage. Will Chambers be beheaded as the rebel’s promise he will?
It later transpires; Stephen Chambers is actually the son of a powerful senator, using his mother's maiden name for cover. With the White House refusing to commit Navy SEALs or other U.S. military assets in case of capture, outside Special Forces are sought to conduct the operation. The CIA want a deniable Black Bag team to undertake the task and free Stephen Chambers unharmed.
Jonny Davies and his ex-SAS colleagues are offered the contract to travel to Syria to locate and free the U.S. citizen. But nothing is what it seems in the badlands. Other governments have a vested interest in Chambers and the rebel fighters, and they will stop at nothing to protect their interests. The chemical weapons used to murder the people of Ras al-Ain are still available to the highest bidder. The potential for attacks on America and Britain with WMD remain a real possibility. Thousands could die if the chemical weapons fall into the wrong hands.
In their most dangerous mission to date, will the team from B.O.S.S. be able to free the hostage, or will they pay the ultimate price, another YouTube video of a cruel execution? Sit back and enjoy the non-stop action, the twists and turns, and the bloody fighting as Jonny and the boys venture to the badlands.
