Richard Calder

Richard Calder was born in London in 1956. He has worked in bookselling, independent television and the American Embassy's press office. He became a full-time author in 1990 after moving to Nongkai, Thailand, a border town overlooking Laos. He returned to London in 1996. In 1998 he again moved abroad and currently lives in the Philippines. Richard Calder's short stories and reviews have been published in many magazines, including Omni, Interzone and Science Fiction Eye, and his work has been translated into several languages.
