Ancient Sins

When a fifty-year-old human skull was discovered in a lorry-load of sugar beet, it came at an inconvenient time. Breckland CID was fully involved in a three-county police operation, with the targets for Operation Longship in their sights. However, the old wartime mystery could not be ignored. DS Judy Kane was assigned to unravel a tangled skein of ancient sins - but a tortuous trail of lost loves and fiery passions would lead her into terrible danger.
