Throughout time mortals and immortals have lived side by side. Sometimes their worlds collided but it was rare. Among species such as Vampires, shifters, Fae, witches, there once was a species called Elementals.
In the twelfth century the species was methodically and meticulously wiped out. All it had taken was jealousy that turned into a twisted hatred had propelled the eradication of the species.
Unbeknownst to the immortal world a few elementals had survived. They live amongst other immortals masking their abilities in fear of the past becoming the present.
Julian Vaughn: has built his reputation by being an assassin for the VN problem is no one knows that piece of information. Outside the war room of the Vampire Nation he’s an outlaw, a rouge. Someone that should be on a short leash. Due to a series of unfortunate events he’s being forced to babysit a female vampire who’s seeing more then she should.
Eden Bordelon: is a pure blood vampire. She’s been on her own for over a decade and managed to have a great life. Now she’s on the run from a deranged witch that wants to bring back a species of immortals that have been extinct for a thousand years. Add in a male that wants to mate her and won’t take no for an answer. Her only hope is a hybrid with an attitude problem.
