The Banners of Revolt

Count Henryk Barinski and his beloved Kasia had endured some of the most terrible and violent years in the history of Poland. Now they, and Poland, were at peace. But for Henryk it was a peace without honour, and duty soon compelled him to leave the tranquillity of his estate to join the great Cossack revolt under their barbaric leader Pugachev against the Empress Catherine.
