Sheela Chari



Sheela Chari is the author of VANISHED, an Edgar Award nominee for best juvenile mystery, an Al Roker book pick on the Today Show, and an APALA Childrens Literature Honor Book. Her second novel, FINDING MIGHTY, will be published in May by Abrams. She was born in Bangalore, India and has lived in Iowa, Washington State,  California, Massachusetts, and New York. She has degrees from Stanford University, Boston University, and New York University, where she received an MFA in Fiction. She teaches writing at Mercy College and lives in New York with her family.
