A Grave Death

Cassie Dune spent her formative years under the watchful gaze of her mentor, Marc. As an agent with the Independent Necromancers' Bureau, it was his job to deal with the reanimated, catch and remove unwanted ghosts, and track down rogue necromancers.

Now, Cassie's all grown up and an agent in her own right. Sure, she has the origins of her enhanced powers to contend with, and an ex-boyfriend who also happens to be a cop she can't avoid. But for the most part, life's good.

Then the unthinkable happens. Marc's body is found in a local graveyard, his spirit severed to prevent Cassie from talking to him beyond the grave.

Cassie vows to catch his killer... although that doesn't prove as easy as she'd hoped.

Between her cop ex-boyfriend; her over-protective ghost housemate, who seems hell-bent on improving Cassie's diet; and the super-hot new partner she needs to break in -- Cassie has her hands full.

Throw some gun-toting zombies into the mix, along with a rising body count, and the fight is on.

Will Cassie catch the killer or will she become the next victim?
