All these highly praised stories were first published in national newspapers and magazines ( eg Punch, Sunday Times, London Evening News etc) and are now collected in book form for the first time. Many of the stories were published in the 1960s and 1970s. None are about Bilbury. Most (though not all) of these stories have a twist in the tale. Some have a medical flavour. Some are pure fiction. Some are autobiographical. Some are a mixture of all of these.
